GAMINING LAW: Fourth Annual Golf Tournament Raises $25,000 for Law Scholarship

The Fourth Annual Golf Tournament raised $25,000 to benefit the
"Gaming Law Section Scholarship" at the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV.
In its fourth year of existence, the golf tournament has raised close to $60,000
in scholarship money.
An open golf tournament was held on the afternoon of May 7th, drawing 145 golfers to a four-person scramble at Desert Pines Golf Club in Las Vegas.
The team of
Bill Godfrey, Chuck Halsey, Torry Somers and Pat
Riley took First Place with a net
score of 53.6 (17.4 under par).
The second and third place teams were decided on a third hole tiebreaker. As a
result, the team of John Knott, Anthony Pearl, Steve
Brammel and Jonathan Halkyard took
Second Place with a net score of 54.9 (16.1
under par).
The team of Joseph Small, Robert Qualey,
Phillip Hymanson and William
Croft took Third Place with a net
score of 54.9 (16.1 under par).
The team of Pat Wynn, David Shelton, Thomas Prestwor
and Jeff Horky took the
High Score Award with a net score of 66.7 (4.3
under par).
