Dues: $25/yr
Purpose:
To provide opportunities for the assimilation of young lawyers into the
profession as well as a training ground for future leaders of our bar. YLS
membership is open to all attorneys who have been admitted in Nevada for
less than five years, or are 36 years old or younger. From mentor programs,
to organizing charity events, to networking, to fighting to improve the
image of attorneys in general, YLS has a wide array of activities.

Ryan Works (Chair)
Ryan Works is an associate in the law
firm of McDonald Carano Wilson, LLP, working primarily in the areas
of business and commercial litigation, creditor and debtor rights,
bankruptcy and insolvency and government affairs. Mr. Works has been
with the Firm for seven years and he is licensed to practice before
all of the state and federal courts of Nevada. He has successfully
represented his clients’ interests at the administrative level,
district court, federal and bankruptcy courts,
as well as the Las Vegas City Council and Nevada State
Legislature. Mr. Works received his Bachelor of Arts degree in
Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2000. He
earned his Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at
the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2004. He was the Nevada Law
Editor for the Nevada Law Journal and a national finalist for the
Society of Advocates National Moot Court Team.
Paola M. Armeni
(Chair-elect))
Paola M. Armeni is an associate with
the law firm of Gordon Silver. She practices in the area of criminal defense
litigation. Prior to entering private practice, Paola clerked for
the Honorable Joseph T. Bonaventure at the Eighth Judicial District
Court in Las Vegas, Nevada. Paola received her bachelor of science
in Justice Studies from Arizona State University in 1998. She earned
her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the
University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2003. While at Boyd, Paola served
as President of the Student Bar Association and continued to be
active with her alma mater upon graduation serving as the first
President of the William S. Boyd School of Law Alumni Association.
Paola was honored in 2008 as William S. Boyd School of Law 2008
College Alumni of the Year. She is also a member of the National
Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and serves as
Vice-President of the Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Defense.
Jeremy Reichenberg
(Secretary)
Jeremy Reichenberg is a Deputy District
Attorney for the Lyon County District Attorney’s Office. He was
named in Nevada Business Magazine's 2009 Legal Elite issue as one of
the 20 Best Government Attorneys. Jeremy
received his J.D. from University of Nebraska, College of Law in
2006. Jeremy was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2006 and
the State Bar of Nevada in 2007.
Justina Alyce Caviglia
Justina Alyce Caviglia is a civil deputy attorney with the Douglas
County District Attorney's Office. She prevously worked as a criminal deputy
district attorney and clerked for Ninth Judicial District Court Judge David
Gamble. Justina earned a bachelor of science in Environmental Policy
Analysis with distinction and a bachelor of arts in Spanish with distinction
from the University of Nevada in 2003. She earned her Juris Doctor from the
William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in
2006. While in law school, Justina served as a representative of the Student
Bar Association, served as the president of the Environmental Law Society,
and received a Dean's Award. Justina was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada
in 2006.
Matthew Digesti
Matthew is a founding partner at The Digesti Law Firm, LLP. His
practice focuses on personal injury, business litigation, appellate,
and traditional and digital intellectual property transactions.
Matthew has gained extensive experience in the Internet arena having
negotiated and drafted cutting edge e-commerce and new media
agreements with attorneys representing Kobe Bryant, Chris Daughtry,
T-Pain, Paul Oakenfold, New Kids on the Block, and others. Prior to
entering private practice, Matthew clerked for Chief Justice James
W. Hardesty at the Nevada Supreme Court. He earned his Juris Doctor
from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with an
emphasis in intellectual property studies. He received his B.B.A. in
Business Economics from the University of San Diego, a top 50
business school, and graduated with an invitation-only induction
into Omicron Delta Epsilon, an international economics honor
society. Matthew was admitted to practice law in the State of Nevada
in 2006 and the State of California in 2005.
Brian Gonsalves
Brian Gonsalves is an associate with Georgeson Angaran, Chtd, in Reno, NV.
His practice focus is civil litigation. He received a Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
in 1995 and his law degree from the University of Hawaii School of Law in
2005. While in law school, he earned a CALI Award in Real Estate Development
and Finance, the Ruddy F. Tong Memorial Award, and a grant from the
Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He also volunteered with the Legal
Aid Society of Hawaii. Mr. Gonsalves is admitted to practice in Nevada and
California and is a member of the Washoe County Bar Association and the
Tahoe Truckee Bar Association. He is also a prospective board member for
Tahoe Women's Services (September 2010), a non-profit organization providing
domestic violence and child abuse services to the Tahoe-Truckee area. Prior
to attending law school, Mr. Gonsalves worked in the field of commercial
finance.
Kendelee Leascher Works
Kendelee Leascher
Works is a Deputy Public Defender at the Clark County Public
Defender's Office representing criminal defendants accused of both
felony and misdemeanor offenses. Previously, she was an associate at Marquis & Aurbach
where she practiced in the area of civil litigation, particularly
real estate and contract related disputes, as well as personal
injury and civil rights defense. Kendelee received
her bachelor of arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University
of Nevada, Reno in 2002. She earned her Juris Doctor from the
William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas
in 2005. While at Boyd, Kendelee served as President of the Student Bar
Association, was a member of the Society of Advocates, and graduated
in the top third of her class. She also earned third place
individual speaking honors at the Philip C. Jessup International
Law, Southwest Regional Moot Court Competition.
Layke Martin Stolberg
Layke Martin Stolberg is an associate with the law firm of Marquis &
Aurbach. She practices in the areas of business and
construction litigation, as well as bankruptcy. Layke is also an
Adjunct Professor at the William S. Boyd School of Law, where she
teaches an advanced legal writing class focusing on pre-trial
litigation. Layke received her
J. D. from Boston University School of Law, where she graduated cum
laude. While at Boston University, Layke earned a conventraion in
Litigation and Dispute Resolution, with honors, and served as
President of the Public Interest Project, one of the oldest and
largest organizations of its kind in the country, which funds grants
for law students working in non-profit and legal services
organizations. Layke received a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast
journalism from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2002.
David O'Mara
David O'Mara is a partner in the O'Mara Law Firm, P.C. His practice
includes litigation, probate, bankruptcy, juvenile defense, family
law and government affairs. He has successfully represented his
clients' interests in district court, federal and bankruptcy courts,
the Nevada Supreme Court and the Nevada Legislature. David received his Juris Doctorate degree
along with a Government Affairs Certificate from the University of the
Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2003. Prior to joining the O'Mara Law
Firm in 2006, David clerked for the Honorable Steven Kosach of the Second
Judicial District Court of Nevada and with the United States Court of
Federal Claims - an Article I Court that has jurisdiction over various
claims against the United States government, including contracts, Fifth
Amendment takings claims, and tax refunds. David is a member of the Nevada
State Bar Association, the Washoe County Bar Association, the United States
Court of Federal Claims Bar Association, the Bruce R. Thompson chapter of
American Inns of Court, the University of Nevada Young Alumni Club Advisory
Board, and the Nevada Boys' State Alumni Association.
Tabitha Fiddyment (Ex-Officio Budget

Tabitha Fiddyment is an
associate in the government affairs/land use & zoning department of
Kaempfer Crowell Renshaw
Gronauer & Fiorentino.
Tabitha received
her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from the University of
Nevada, Reno in 1999. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from
the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2003. Tabitha was admitted to
the State Bar of Nevada in 2004 and the State Bar of Washington in
2006.
