DO YOU
WHY
PARTICIPATE IN PRO BONO
BY DANIEL BONNEvILLE, ESQ.
My motivation to do Pro-bono work comes from deep inspirations. I grew up in poverty; there are few people my age who can boast of living in a home with no running water. I’m very proud of those roots. Those roots, along with my unique life experiences, (service station attendant, military avionics technician and chemical engineer) allow me to relate to almost every individual on a personal level. Pro-bono work is a calling. It’s my small chance to make a small difference. I can only take about three cases a month; children are involved in about half those cases. Nothing gives me more fulfillment than helping a mother, father, aunt, uncle or grandparent because I know I’m helping their children. That matters!
