Introducing Evidence: This hands-on program introduces you to PowerPoint 2007 and advanced elements such as audio/video insertions. 

 

Topics Include:

  • How audio, video and other tools affect the courtroom;

  • Effective elements and techniques of visual tools, such as PowerPoint;

  • Research on teaching and learning: what works;

  • Organizing the “story;”

  • Using graphics;

  • Bells and whistles: Integrating video, audio and special document effects.

This program will teach you how to design presentations to sway client, jury AND judge!

 

BRING YOUR LAPTOP: Printed materials will be available, but it's strongly suggested that you bring a laptop computer loaded with PowerPoint 2007 and wireless connectivity.  You are encouraged to bring an outline of material that you can use to develop into a presentation.

 UNLV Boyd School of Law and the UNR Grant Sawyer Center for Justice Studies.
