The State Bar of Nevada is currently accepting applications for Staff Accountant. This is a full-time, FLSA-exempt position supporting the Accounting Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: budget projections, assisting with financial statements, bank reconciliations, department reconciliation, managing accounts payables and receivable, journal entries, and 1099s. The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree with major coursework in business administration, accounting and finance preferred or associate degree with a minimum of three years' or more related experience. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook, as well advanced experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software. 10-key adding machine or calculator skills required.

The State Bar of Nevada is currently accepting applications for Hearing Administrator. This is a full-time, non-exempt position supporting the Office of Bar Counsel. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: maintain all court files and records of court proceedings in disciplinary matters; liaison with Nevada Disciplinary Board members to oversee the scheduling of screenings and hearings; attend Office of Bar Counsel hearings/screenings, recording the minutes; process orders to/from Supreme Court. The ideal candidate should: possess a bachelor’s degree; have proficient knowledge of Nevada Court systems, including e-filing; have high-level secretary/paralegal experience; and be extremely organized and able to work independently at a fast pace. Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
