Julie Cavanaugh-Bill is experienced in the area of Native American and indigenous rights and has been practicing in that area for more than 14 years. She recently opened a solo practice in Elko County, Nevada, Cavanaugh-Bill Law Offices. She has been a member of the Nevada bar since 2009 and is also admitted to practice in Minnesota.
She has served as a Director of the Land Recognition program for the Western Shoshone Defense Project and also practiced with the firm of Winthrop & Weinstine in Minnesota. While employed with Winthrop & Weinstine, she was in-house counsel for the Prairie Island Indian Community.
