Law Day 2013 Celebration at the Nevada Legislature
The Law Related Education Consortium was pleased to have Law Day, May 1, 2013, recognized as a Special Occasion Day at the Nevada Senate and Assembly.
Frank Flaherty, State Bar of Nevada President (right); Kimberly Farmer, State Bar of Nevada Executive Director (left); and Rachel Anderson, Associate Professor of Law, UNLV Boyd School of Law (center); participated in the celebration of Law Day at the Nevada Legislature. Read during the Senate session on May 1 was a proclamation of the Assembly and the Senate of the Nevada Legislature.
Also present were Casey Sanders, Volunteer Attorneys for Rural Nevadans, and Christine Hull, Social Studies/Content Literacy Programs, Nevada Department of Education.

Rachel Anderson, Associate Professor of Law, UNLV Boyd School of Law, presented State Bar of Nevada President Frank Flaherty with a special preview of a living history exhibit. A portion of the exhibit was previewed during Law Week at the Nevada Legislature and the Supreme Court Library. The full exhibit will be unveiled later this year at the University of Las Vegas Boyd School of Law.
