The Office of Appointed Counsel Committee Needs You
The deadline to apply to join the Office of Appointed Counsel (OAC) Committee has been extended to June 9, 2008. This is the final deadline extension, so apply now! Consistent with the January 2008 Supreme Court Order relating to the defense of the indigent, Clark County formed the OAC to assign private counsel in appointed criminal cases. The State Bar of Nevada will appoint a member to the OAC Committee, which will review applications to join the Indigent Defense Panel (IDP), a group of attorneys approved to accept these cases. Download more information on how to join the OAC or the IDP.
To join any bar committee or commission, you must download and complete the appointment application form.
