Volunteers Needed for Washoe County Clinics

Washoe Legal Services is seeking volunteer attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries, legal students and notaries to staff clinics that will be scheduled to assist people with filling out court-approved forms from the Self-Help Center of the Family Division of the Second Judicial District Court.

The clinics will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.  Ideally we are seeking a pool of 20 attorneys and 40 support staff to assist with general procedure instruction and form completion. Clients requiring additional services will be referred outside of the clinics for further assistance.

Volunteer clinic opportunities in family law include divorce, custody, visitation, child support, legal separation, annulments, and minor and adult guardianships. Please contact Renee at 775-327-8445 or via e-mail at rkelly@washoelegalservices.org to be placed on the clinic panel.
