Registration is now open for the 2018 Annual Meeting to be held July 12 -14 at the Drake Hotel in Chicago. The “Rule of Law” has been a hot topic in recent news – and will mark the theme of this year’s convention. While the phrase has been used widely, the sessions offered at this year’s Annual Meeting will focus the discussion on how the legal profession has helped shape the Rule of Law in our country’s history and our role in the future.

Featured speakers this summer include: David Boies, who has represented parties to some of the biggest cases in history; former Enron CFO Andrew Fastow; Filmmaker Susan Saladoff, who spotlighted the personal legal battle of Stella Liebeck in the famous McDonald’s Hot Coffee case; and the ever-popular Professor Erwin Chemerinsky. The state bar is also proud to host both the Nevada Supreme Court and the Nevada Court of Appeals as they present 2018 case reviews.

New this year: With such great speakers, we’ve introduced plenary sessions that will be of interest to conference attendees as well as Trial Academy registrants! Better yet, Trial Academy general sessions will be opened for those registered for the Annual Meeting. The 2018 Annual Meeting schedule is available for preview now!
