Awards and Recognitions from the State Bar
State Bar of Nevada members work hard to contribute to our organization, donating countless hours of volunteer time every year. In recognition of these members’ efforts, the state bar has created two membership awards.
To submit a nomination, click on the individual award links below and download the nomination form. Forms include include complete descriptions of each award as well as instructions for submitting nominations. All nominations are due by Friday, May 1, 2015.
Presidential Award: Presented to a State Bar of Nevada member practicing 20 years or more whose conduct, honesty and integrity represents the highest standards of the legal profession. Award recipients are those who inspire by example, advance the administration of justice and bring honor and integrity to the profession.
Volunteer of the Year Award: Presented to a member for outstanding volunteer service to the State Bar of Nevada. The selection committee will give primary consideration to nominees who have served or continue to serve on state bar committees or sections and have demonstrated a commitment to the advancement of the profession and to the protection of the public.
