Eighth Judicial District Court issues Order Regarding Court Procedures During Recovery Phase 2
On Monday, June 1, 2020, the Eighth Judicial District Court issued Administrative Order 20-17 regarding all operations for the court during Phase 2 of the COVID-19 recovery plan. The order became effective Mon. June 1.
The 30-page order supersedes Administrative Orders AO-20-01 through 20-13 and AO 20-16. Any portions of those orders that remains in effect is included in AO 20-17. AO-20-14 remains in effect.
According to the order, the Eighth Judicial District Court will begin hearing all cases, with several safety precautions in place, including extensive use of appearance by alternate means, social distancing protocols and wearing masks.
