It’s Time to Vote in the 2019 Board of Governors Election
Ballots for the 2019 State Bar of Nevada Board of Governors (BOG) were distributed electronically to eligible bar members on Saturday, April 27. Ballots were sent via email.
Ballots were sent to bar members who reside in the following districts:
- District 1: Clark County
- District 2: White Pine, Elko, Eureka, Churchill, Lander, Humboldt, Lyon, Lincoln, Douglas, Mineral, Nye, Esmeralda, Pershing and Storey counties
- District 3: Carson City
Please note that the election in District 4: Washoe County is uncontested; Vernon “Gene” Leverty will serve a term representing that district. Bar members who reside in Washoe County will not receive voting ballots.

The email ballot was sent from the “State Bar of Nevada.” You will see in the from line: “State of Bar of Nevada (firstname.lastname@example.org),” and in the subject line”you will see “2019 State Bar of Nevada Election Ballot.”
If you are an eligible voting member and you did not receive your ballot on Saturday, please check your spam folder or contact Gale Skala at email@example.com to have the email resent to you.
The voting period closes on Monday, May 27.
